Greetings, Brethren,
This is a reminder that the Masters, Wardens, and Deacons Association for the district will be starting for the year. As per our current ByLaws, Meetings are to be held on the Third Friday of every odd month while the lodges are at labor. They also state that the meetings are to be held at each lodge of the district, in rotation, by Lodge number. As such, the first meeting is to be held Friday September 18, 2015, at The Lodge of Antiquity. The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm.
All attendees are asked to be prepared with the planned schedule for their lodges through the end of November. This would allow all to be dispersed during regular lodge communications throughout the district.
Communications are key. Those brothers willing and eager to travel should not be denied for lack of information.
I hope to see you all there.
John D. Scapaticci
President
*** Please note the change in order of #3 and #4 to allow for the second degree to happen before the symbolism lecture.
Jephtha Lodge’s In-house Masonic Education Course will be taught by W:. Robert Previto, with four guest lectures from informed Past Masters. It will take place on the first Monday of each month, starting Jan. 4, 2016, for six sessions at our Masonic Temple. Each class will start promptly at 8:00 p.m., and run an estimated 1.5 to 2 hours. There is no fee, no testing, and no grades. Dress and ambiance is casual. The purpose of the class is to school Jephtha Brothers in the deeper meaning and details of Masonic culture, protocol, and symbolism, with particular emphasis on how Jephtha runs its own Lodge and maintains its Temple, so that as our Brothers grow into their roles as Officers or side-liners, they will be better prepared in all the aspects of running our Masonic Lodge.
