Masonic Career: Trustee, 1943. Two of his sons were Worshipful Masters of Jephtha No. 494 F. & A.M.: John Clark Toaz (1937) and Robert T Toaz (1949).
Education: University of Rochester. Attended Columbia University and Albany Teachers College.
Occupation: First Superintendent Huntington School District, 1906-1933. Director of Bank of Huntington and Trust Company. Principal of Oxford N.Y. High School for two years.
Bio: Born in Rochester, NY, son of William K. and Ellen Robinson Toaz. Awarded Honorary Degree of Pedagogy by the New York State Department of Education. President of the Rotary Club. Member of Huntington Chamber of Commerce. At the time of his death in 1938, Toaz was the Vice President of Schoolmasters Club of New York.
