Pettit; educated at Huntington High School & Ohio Wesleyan College; married Caroline Nye of Delaware, Ohio; they were the parents of Janet & Marian; they divorced & he married his second wife, Marion Symonds of Ohio; Pettit moved to California about 1933. Died of cancer of the bladder in San Bruno, San Mateo, CA. funeral services were held at Huntington, NY. Graveside service by Rev. Flandreau of the Huntington Methodist Church. Interred in Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale, NY.
